GETTING STARTED (REESTIMATING RISKS)

Once you have defined risk treatment actions, you are ready to re-estimate the residual risk that will remain after you implement the actions. The popup dialog window is exactly the same as the one used in estimating the risk in the first place. You access the window by pressing the »Estimate« push button.

To re estimate the risk you either change the frequency of incident or deselect some of the businesses impacts that are eliminated once you implement foreseen actions, or do both. Once you do that, the residual risk estimate will appear in the dialog window. It may be the same as before, or it may be lower, depending on criteria your Risk Manager has set for risk evaluation.

You save the changes and close the window by pressing the »Save« button.
